Belambra vvf is committed in favour of the environment
It is very important to us to adhere to the logic of sustainable development. A renovation project of all of our sites is in progress, already more than half of the sites are “new generation” and in less than two years, our 60 sites will all meet the same standards. Whether on the coast or at the foot of the ski slopes, Belambra vvf undertakes to respect the natural environment.
How do we involve ourselves in this sustainable development approach?
A “Carbon report” helps us to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions as well as our energy consumption (low energy light bulbs, domestic appliances that consume little, etc.).
Some of our sites are fitted with solar collectors and “Gut” green-labelled carpet for their environmental qualities.
Partnership with the National Forestry Office to raise the awareness of our holidaymakers to the importance of respecting the fauna and flora to allow them to “rediscover” our sites from a different angle.
“A major modernisation programme”
On 2 April, Olivier Colcombet talked about the work being done in the clubs, at a round table on Sustainable Building organised at the initiative of the Caisse des Dépôts.
“Belambra vvf represents 500,000 m2 of buildings and up to 40,000 people on holiday at the same time. We have therefore reached the size of a small town. Our buildings are very well situated, but exposed in terms of weather, whether at the seaside or in the mountains. With our modernisation programme we are adopting a pragmatic approach to the issues at stake around Sustainable Development.”
